About
I earned my B.Sc. in Biology from Salahaddin University in 1999 and began my academic career as a laboratory assistant in the Plant Protection Department (2000–2003), where I gained practical experience in plant research and lab management. I completed my M.Sc. in Plant Physiology in 2006, focusing on the physiological aspects of plant growth. Following this, I served as a lecturer at the College of Agriculture, Salahaddin University, for seven years, teaching plant science courses and supervising lab sessions. In 2017, I completed a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology through a collaborative program between Salahaddin University and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), with research centered on plant physiological responses to environmental stress. I have authored 23 peer-reviewed journal articles and contributed a book chapter, with research interests in plant physiology, stress biology, and crop improvement.
